I was walking through the mall the other day when a random lady ran up to me and offered me some bourbon chicken. I usually do not take random food from strangers, but she looked like she worked at the restaurant at the food court so that was good enough for me. I am glad that I did, it was delicious. So much so that I had to remake it. So I scoured the internet for recipes. I finally found one that looked good, but it was missing the main ingredient, Bourbon. So I added it to the recipe and the rest is history. It was an amazing meal.
Bourbon Chicken – (Adapted from Bourbon Chicken)
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium/high heat.
Add the chicken and cook till lightly browned. Then remove the chicken from the pan.
In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients to form a sauce. Whisk together.
Add the sauce mixture to the pan and bring to a boil. Mix thoroughly to make sure that all of the ingredients are mixed into the sauce.
Add the chicken to the pan and bring back to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the sauce reduces and thickens.
Serve over rice and enjoy!

Did you go back to the mall and give out samples to random strangers? :)
It looks great Rex, the sauce just clinging to the meat looks perfect.
Haha, I was out in front of my house handing out free samples and business cards for $1 off their future order. It was a great way to network.
