Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bacon cut into bits and fried crisp
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 3 tsp Kernels Popcorn Seasoning White cheddar or Cheddar
  • 2 tbs diced chives
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Dice up the bacon and fry it crisp.
  • Remove bacon from pan and let drain on a paper towel. Let cool for 15 minutes before making the dip.
  • Place the sour cream, cheddar or white cheddar popcorn seasoning, chives, cooled bacon, and pepper into a bowl and mix well.
  • Refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving to let the flavors meld together.
  • Serve with potato chips for the perfect baked potato flavor.

Notes

The powdered cheese flavoring is found near the microwave popcorn in the grocery store. White cheddar or regular cheddar both work well. This recipe serves 8 and is perfect for parties. The dip should chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
