Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Peel and halve baby carrots. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  • Add carrots, salt, and brown sugar to the boiling water.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until carrots are tender.
  • Drain carrots, reserving a small amount of cooking liquid.
  • Return carrots to pan, add butter, and toss to coat with the glaze.
  • Simmer for 2-3 minutes until glazed. Serve hot.

Notes

Can be made ahead and reheated.
