German Potato Salad
Warm German potato salad with bacon and dried onions. Easy recipe using canned German potato salad base, baked for 3 hours.

Ingredients

cans Reads German Potato Salad
1
can sliced potatoes
drained
6
slices
bacon
1
tablespoon
dried onion
Instructions
Cut the 6 slices of bacon into strips.
Fry the bacon in a skillet until crispy.
Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on a paper towel.
Open the cans of German potato salad and sliced potatoes.
Drain the sliced potatoes.
Place all potatoes into a large oven-safe baking dish.
Layer the cooked bacon and dried onions on top of the potatoes.
Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 hours.
Remove from oven and serve warm.
Notes
This recipe uses canned German potato salad as a base. The long baking time allows all flavors to meld together. Perfect for cookouts and potlucks.
