Hot Fudge

Easy homemade hot fudge sauce made with chocolate chips, butter, sugar, and evaporated milk. Ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk 5 oz can

Instructions

  • In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate chips together.
  • Once melted, add the sugar and stir to incorporate.
  • Slowly add the evaporated milk, drizzling it in while stirring.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  • Continue to cook for 8-10 minutes until desired consistency is reached.
  • Serve warm over ice cream.
  • Cover and refrigerate any leftovers.

Notes
