All-American Boozy Slushy Cocktail (Red, White & Blue!)

I wanted to go All-American with my cocktail on Memorial Day! This cocktail screams red, white and blue!

I love the flavors of snow cones and I think they make for the perfect bases for cocktails. So, I created this All-American adult slushy based on my favorite snow cones. Walmart sells a variety of Kool-aid snow cone syrups. They are amazing for frozen cocktails.

I created the layers in this cocktail with cherry and blue raspberry kool-aid snow cone syrup. I made the white layer with a homemade lemonade snow cone syrup. This recipe makes 2 adult frozen cocktails.

The Blue Layer

Add 2 cups of ice to a blender. Then, add 1.5 ounces of white rum, 1.5 ounces of blue raspberry kool-aid snow cone syrup and 0.5 ounces of simple syrup. Blend until smooth and pour into two glasses.

The White Layer

Add 2 cups of ice to a blender. Then, add 1.5 ounces of white rum, 1.5 ounces of lemon juice and 1 ounce of simple syrup. Blend until smooth and then pour on top of the blue layer in each cup.

The Red Layer

Add 2 cups of ice to a blender. Then, add 1.5 ounces of white rum, 1.5 ounces of cherry kool-aid snow cone syrup and 0.5 ounces of simple syrup. Blend until smooth and then pour on top of the white layer in each cup.
