    Triple “B” Stew

    Readers kept asking me for a hearty fall stew so I sat down and wrote out everything I wanted. Beef — obviously. Barley — my neighbor growing up made it and it was a must. Beer — I put it in everything. Then I started with bacon, so technically it could be Quadruple B Stew. This one is thick, rich, and serves great over a fresh biscuit.
