Well it is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and I wanted to give a few pointers. Let me know if there is anything that I have left out.

Since today is Memorial Day I decided to create a couple of dishes that are perfect for grilling out. I am going to make a Pepperjack and Jalapeno stuffed burger topped with a spicy mayo and a quick pickle of onions and jalapenos. I call it my “Two Steps From Hell Burger”. The burger is…

New to cooking Thanksgiving dinner? Rex’s Turkey Day 101 covers everything — how to pick a turkey, brine it, season it and cook it perfectly. No stress, no guessing, just a great bird!

Hi Rex, I just wanted to let you know I made those amazing sweet potatoes you adapted from Ruth’s Chris. I got a little scared with the sugar, so I cut it down a little from your recipe, and it was still plenty sweet and very delicious! I waited until the day after Thanksgiving to really savor them and enjoy them all alone so there weren’t any distractions with the flavors. One word – YUM! Thanks for researching that recipe, we loved it! PS That Thermapen would have really come in handy on Thanksgiving, it was my first crack at cooking this meal and I found your website to be sooooo helpful with all the step by step photos. It made me feel like I had a teacher right in my kitchen! Thank You!
