Last week the nice folks over at Thermoworks sent me a TimeStick Trio to test out. This is a brand new product. It is just like the original TimeStick but it allows you to have three timers in one.
I was looking at the things that I have made over the past two weeks and I discovered something amazing. I made all of the fixings for a Brownie Sundae. Awesome chocolate brownies and homemade hot fudge. I did not make my own whipped cream but I will in the future.
I love Red Stag Black Cherry Bourbon from Jim Beam. It is freaking delicious! I know what you are thinking, Red Stag tastes great as-is! There really is no need to mix this stuff at all. However, this stuff tastes so good that it screams to be mixed in a cocktail. I stumbled into this…
I love meatloaf and when Dana suggested that we have it for dinner, I was excited. One of my specialties is Potato meatloaf. Instead of using all breadcrumbs, I used half potato flakes from instant potatoes. It adds a creaminess to the meatloaf that is completely awesome! I used this technique once before on…
This red, white and blue boozy slushy is the perfect patriotic cocktail for Memorial Day or 4th of July. Three layered frozen rum slushies made with snow cone syrup — festive and DE-LISH!
Yesterday I had friends over to watch College Football. We were hungry and I didn’t have much in the house. However, I had some frozen wings, some wingsauce and 1 hour to make a pizza dough. So I made Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Super simple and so darn tasty.
Hi Rex, I just wanted to let you know I made those amazing sweet potatoes you adapted from Ruth’s Chris. I got a little scared with the sugar, so I cut it down a little from your recipe, and it was still plenty sweet and very delicious! I waited until the day after Thanksgiving to really savor them and enjoy them all alone so there weren’t any distractions with the flavors. One word – YUM! Thanks for researching that recipe, we loved it! PS That Thermapen would have really come in handy on Thanksgiving, it was my first crack at cooking this meal and I found your website to be sooooo helpful with all the step by step photos. It made me feel like I had a teacher right in my kitchen! Thank You!
