by Like so many American’s my eyes are bigger than my stomach. Therefore, I have a ton of leftovers after Thanksgiving. Ok, this might have been done on purpose ?. Â Who doesn’t love an open faced hot turkey sandwich. Â But there are so many other things that you can do with the leftovers. Â Here are my favorite ideas.
Thanksgiving Leftover Shepard’s Pie
How often do you have extra mashed potatoes laying around? Â Not sure about you, but I usually only have extra around Thanksgiving. Although that may have to change. Â Leftover mashed potatoes plus a little turkey and gravy makes for an amazing Shepard’s Pie.
I love potatoes and I believe that they are the perfect vessel to deliver any food. Â Thanksgiving leftovers is no exception.
There is nothing like placing your favorite ingredients into a pie crust and baking it till golden brown. Â These were a hit. Â Just douse them in the turkey gravy.
Thanksgiving Leftover Pizza
With a biscuit crust and all of your favorite ingredients on top, you can not beat this as the ultimate leftover recipe. Â I make this whenever I can.
