I love a good ole American Cheese Grilled cheese sandwich. Â However, I have been introduced to various other methods of cooking and found the best grilled cheese ever! Â This involves using a lot of butter, white bread and shredded cheese. Â Yep, no more american cheese. Â Ok, you really can’t call it cheese, but it is tasty! Â This sandwich is loaded with cheese and is even topped with cheese. Â The cheese is fried right into the bread giving it a crusty, cheesy awesomeness!
Inside and Out Grilled Cheese
Shred 1 cup of Sharp Cheddar Cheese and 1/2 cup of Monterrey Jack Cheese and set aside. Â You can totally used pre-shredded cheese.
In a large frying pan, add two tablespoons butter.
Once the butter is fully melted add two slices of white bread. Â You can use other types of bread, but traditional white is the best in my book. Â There is no need to try to make a grilled cheese healthy.
Once the bread is frying, add 1/2 cup of the Sharp Cheddar and 1/2 cup of the Monterrey Jack  to one slice.
Then top with the cheese free slice. Â Then add 2-3 tablespoons of the Sharp Cheddar to the top of the bread.
Add another tablespoon of butter to the pan and flip the cheddar topped side onto the buttered pan.
Now top the remaining side of the bread with 2-3 more tablespoons of the Sharp Cheddar.
After about 2 minutes check to see if the bread and cheese are browned. Â If so, flip.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the bread and cheese are browned.
Remove and serve.
This is quite possibly the best grilled cheese I have ever had. Â The combination of cheeses make for a great sandwich. Â Plus, the crispy cheddar cheese on the bread makes for a tasty explosion.
