Dana and I love southwestern food. Â For that reason, one of our favorite condiments is Salsa. To quench our thirst for salsa, I decided to create a fresh salsa. Â This salsa is crisp and refreshing, all the things jarred salsa are not. Â If you have never made fresh salsa, I totally recommend it.
Fresh Salsa
Dice 6 Roma tomatoes, 1 red bell pepper and 1/2 red onion. De-seed 2 Jalapenos and then mince them.
In a large bowl combine the diced tomatoes, bell pepper, red onion, garlic and jalapenos.
Then add the salt, pepper, chili powder, olive oil, cilantro and lime juice.
Mix well. Put into the refrigerator and let the flavors mix for at least an hour.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
