My son loves meatballs. Therefore, we have them at least once a week in our house. Since we have them so much, I get a little meatballed out. So I decided to make a little twist on the traditional meatball. I stuffed them with soft and gooey mozzarella cheese. These mozzarella stuffed meatballs are amazing! They are a must try, and have become the go to meatball recipe for our weekly meatball meal.
Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Â Also line a 13×9 pan with foil. Â Grease the foil with your favorite cooking spray and set aside.
Cut the mozzarella into 1/2 inch cubes.
In a large bowl combine the ground beef, seasoned bread crumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Mix until combined. Â Then portion into 18-24 portions.
Take a portion, flatten out the portion and add a cube of mozzarella cheese. Â Then mold the meat around the cheese to form a meatball.
Place the meatballs into the pan approximately 1 inch apart.
Then bake uncovered for 18 to 22 minutes or until the meatball is no longer pink in the center.
Place onto your favorite pasta and top with your favorite sauce.

These used to be one of Trevor’s favorites when he was a kid. Then he wanted me to work the noodles and sauce into the meatball too.
That is a great idea. Noodles and sauce in the meatball. I might have to borrow that one.
